I moved here in ’04 from California. Got here just in time for Hurricane Charlie. I decided that although hurricanes were quite destructive, I preferred them to earthquakes. At least you know when a hurricane is coming – unlike earthquakes.
I’ve found it very enjoyable living here. Warm weather, beautiful scenery, and nice people.
The purpose of this blog is two-fold. One is to share the experiences available down here. I have fun here and I think most of you would, too.
With my Meanderings category I hope to pass on a taste of what there is to explore for fun in the area. I’ll go places, do things, and report back. Any comments, personal information you might have on the subject, or suggestions of things that interest you and you want to know about, just Register (your information is private and won’t be spammed) and enter a comment on any subject and I’ll take it from there. This way you’ll learn something and so will I.
The other is to provide some information and interaction about the real estate market here. The Real Estate Discussion category is for discussing local real estate stories. All Real Estate is local and I hope that the information provide in those articles will help you understand what’s going on Here. Most of the stories I’ll be commenting on you can find the complete article and more at my news website SwFlRealEstateNews.com which I update regularly with articles- or just suggest something or ask a question your self and I’ll get it going on it.
